Onceform is a commission studio, not a print bureau. We take a brief from an architect, interior studio, brand or specialist workshop and turn it into a single, precise object — designed for you, made once, and never reproduced for anyone else.

Every commission starts with paid Discovery. It is the filter that keeps our attention on work that suits us, and it is credited in full against your commission.
Discovery
A working session on your brief, constraints, site conditions and budget. You receive a written scope, a price and a lead-time range.

CAD developed from your references, sketches or measurements. One revision round is included; further changes are quoted from the rate card in your Discovery pack.

You sign off the final geometry, material and finish. The design is frozen here; the milestone payment releases the print slot.

Printed in-house or with a vetted Australian partner, then finished by hand. Complex pieces get a first-article check before the final run.

Four kinds of commission we say yes to.
We design and supply the object. Your builder, installer, electrician or fit-out team handles the site. These archetypes show the shape of the work — every actual piece is its own.
Bespoke door pull or hardware set
A handle, escutcheon or pull family drawn to your detail and finish schedule, supplied ready for your joiner to fit. Light-duty and decorative; not load-rated.
Display object for a campaign window
A single sculptural piece built around your campaign, sized to the window, then retired when the campaign ends.
Lamp shade or light housing
The non-electrical body — shade, diffuser, housing — shaped to your fitting, for your electrician to wire and install.
Jig, fixture or tool grip
An ergonomic grip, alignment jig or holding fixture matched to one hand, one tool or one repeated task in your workshop. Not for clamping loads or safety-critical use.
Honest about what each process can do.
We choose the process for the object, not the other way round. Desktop machines give speed and detail; partner machines give durability and scale. Neither is a production line, and we will say so in your quote.

Finish grades — as-printed, dressed, primed, painted or dyed — are named in every quote. We do not sell desktop-printed parts as production-grade finish.
What we don't do
- Print-only jobs from supplied files. If you already have finished CAD and just need it printed, a bureau will serve you better and faster.
- Batches, catalogues, re-orders or turnaround-time races.
- Installation, on-site measurement or structural certification — you supply the measurements, your trades fit the piece.
- Load-bearing or structural parts, or anything safety-critical.
- Medical devices, implants, orthoses or anything worn in or on the body for a clinical purpose.
- Food-contact or drinking-vessel claims.
- Toys or products for use by children.
Regulated or certified uses need separate engineering and regulatory sign-off that this studio does not provide.

Bespoke work is quoted, not listed. These figures are indicative, exclude GST, and are confirmed in writing at Discovery.

A new studio. Nothing borrowed.
Onceform is new, and we have no finished commissions to show yet. We would rather show you nothing than show you something that isn't ours. This section will fill with real pieces as they leave the workshop — photographed as they are, with the client's permission and never their name unless they ask.
A small set of tolerance coupons and finish samples in each process, so you can hold the difference between as-printed, dressed and primed before you commit to a commission. Request it through the enquiry form.
What you own, what we keep, what the law says.
- Design ownership
- Ownership of the final design transfers to you when the final payment clears. Until then, files are supplied under licence for review only.
- Never reproduced
- We do not reuse your geometry for anyone else. Our internal process, jigs, templates and know-how remain ours and are reused across the studio.
- Your spares
- Replacements or spares of your own piece are made only at your written request, as a variation to the original commission.
- Process imagery
- We may show anonymised photographs of the process and finished piece. If you need confidentiality, an NDA can be added at Discovery.
- Revisions
- One revision round is included at the design stage. Further changes are priced from the rate card in your Discovery pack, before work continues.
- Lead times
- Quoted as a date range with named dependencies. Partner-printed processes carry a visible buffer in the quote.
- Consumer guarantees
- Nothing in our terms limits the guarantees that apply under the Australian Consumer Law. Our objects are supplied with due care and skill and are fit for the purpose agreed in writing at Discovery.
- Insurance & checks
- No object leaves the studio until professional indemnity and product liability cover are in place and the finished piece has passed its recorded quality check.
- Exclusions
- See what we don't do. Regulated, structural, medical, food-contact and child-use applications are outside the scope of every commission unless separately engineered and certified by others.
